Thursday Night

Last night I did weight work while balancing on one of those giant balls. My trainer, Cindy, said that you can do all your weight work while stabalizing your core on a exercise ball at the same time. I also held the ball between my legs and did lifts. I awoke this morning and did 20 mintutes on the treadmill. Little by Little!

You went to the gym two days in a row? That's awesome. That is my goal: to do at least 30 minutes of something each day to improve my fitness. I can try doing that type of stability exercise at home since I have free weights and a ball. Do you have any illustrations or websites that show how those exercises are done? Thanks.

I actually did it at home. Any arm exercises that you would do with free standing weights you can do while sitting on the ball. You can do your reps, just on the ball. Then, while having your back on the ground you can lift your legs up with the ball in between and do lifts. You can place your hands under lower back for support.
